The Logic of the Image
Traffic Series
In this stage, the image begins to reorganize itself through a more evident visual structure. The landscape captured by urban cameras progressively loses its descriptive character, transforming into a surface where color, vibration, and the grid take center stage.
The compositions are built by layering color fields that dialogue with a chromatic mesh inspired by digital representation systems. This grid does not function solely as a graphic element, but as a direct reference to how images are processed, compressed, and reconstructed by technological devices.
The painting thus explores the moment when the image ceases to be merely a record of the world and begins to reveal its own internal structure.
